FLOYD, approximately 4 years old, 35 lbs, heart worm negative, came into the shelter with brother, Felix, they seem to have been neglected with little socialization, no matter to them as they are quickly coming out of their shells, although they jump up and down in their kennel they are reserved when you get them outside, in looking at their bodies they seem to have been kenneled a lot on concrete at their former home, today was the first day they have had interaction with volunteers and being outside, these sweeties want to trust and are doing so rather quickly, they are very sweet and loving, love treats and that is a good way to win their trust, they are observant, Felix enjoys attention a tad more than Floyd but Floyd is relaxing more and more, they love to run and play since they aren't in a kennel, Felix shows his love and thanks for letting them outside with lots of kisses, both of them are learning to walk on a leash and the sit command, Floyd will be a loyal companion for your family for years to come. FLOYD is up to date on all shots as are all of the animals at Tehama County Animal Care Center. As we get more information on FLOYD’s personality we will be FLOYD to share.
