Hello friend! My name is Delilah and I am a 5-6 year old sweet, sensitive and gentle Labrador Retriever x Mastiff that adores people.

I currently weigh about 98lbs but my doctor tells me I should weigh about 70lbs, so my foster parents are careful not to feed me too much because of this. Even though I am quite heavy the doc told me that my hips and legs are good and my spine is normal, I plan to keep my body healthy with diet and exercise.

For exercise I like to go for walks with my people rather than going to dog parks. My walks are very important to me so, believe me, if my foster parents wait too long to take me out I am sure to remind them that we have to go!! I am gradually working up to longer and longer walks. Soon I hope to be able to move even easier and more gracefully. My weight loss plan has already helped me lose 3 pounds, get more mobile, and become stronger. I am so proud of myself!

I live in a house with two other medium size dogs and I get along just fine with them, they are the perfect size to hang out with, little dogs are just too small for me to play with. I am also house-trained, crate-trained and love to please my humans. I am very smart and I like to get treats for rewards but, more so, I LOVE to be loved and to give love.

I just want to be with my humans whenever they are around and I am looking for a fur-ever home that wants to be with me just as much . Do you think that you are ready reciprocate all of the love I have to give? Let’s meet, maybe we will be a perfect match!
