My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JAKE is a 1 year old black neutered male who weighs 62 pounds. He's a handsome boy who is very friendly and thinks humans are here to pet him and let him give them kisses. He loves to play out in the yard with other dogs and did well at the shelter. He likes to retrieve and will steal the ball from other dogs. He knows sit, down (sometime) and come. Jake comes from the country and probably would not do well in a city an apartment/condo environment. He's approved for kids aged 10+.

Update (7/18): Jake arrived to his foster home yesterday! He is extremely handsome! He is a very happy boy and is always pleased to see everyone. He sits, jumps a little but will stop when you hold your hand out and say down sternly. He walked quite well on the leash, pulled a little but was easy to control. He's house trained. He and the resident dog get along very well.

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has around 50 dogs available for adoption.

An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a house check is required.
