This 1 year old striking red purebred Australian Cattle Dog came into rescue because his owners could no longer afford to care for him. If you are looking for an eye catching fun dog to go hiking, jog with you or share a road trip, Stihl may be your guy. He is very social with people and other dogs. He loves to play with the female Cattle Dog mix who is in the same foster home. Stihl also gets along well with the foster home's own male dog. Stihl loves to be with you and is looking for his forever family who will give him the exercise and mental stimulation he needs. He is a smart dog and learns to please very quickly-will work for treats!

Stihl has a medium prey drive so he will not be placed in a home with cats or children under the age of 10.

He will need to continue his obedience training and might even like to try Frisbee or agility. Stihl is crate and house trained, neutered, up to date on vaccinations and
has been tested Heartworm negative. He is also on Heartworm and flea-tick prevention.
