My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB July 8, 2010.

Ninja is an all-black cat with some orange tint to his fur underneath.

He was most recently brought in from a colony of cats. His foster mom/colony caretaker believes he was dropped off in the colony as he was not scared of people and didn't show any feral qualities. He was, however, a little shy and would come up to eat but would keep his eye on you.

Over a couple months, his colony caretaker earned his trust, getting a bit closer every day, until she could reach out and pet him. After a few days of this, he underwent a complete change in his personality. It was remarkable: one day he was shy and cautious and the next he was sprawled out on a desk demanding a belly rub.

Ninja loves to sit in boxes and look out his window, especially when it is raining... you can tell he is extra happy to be inside and out of the cold. His favourite thing is to have his fur brushed and he will put his paws on you until you brush him again. He is also very vocal; when he wants something or is hungry he is not afraid to let you know.

It seems as though Ninja was craving human interaction but was unsure if it was safe. He would be happiest in a home that can give him lots of attention and love. He needs someone to show him what a good warm home is like and help bring out his cuddly, loveable personality. He would especially like it if there was another kitty friend in the home or if one of his foster kitty friends could be adopted with him.
