Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB July 8, 2010.
Shelley is a beautiful "torbie" tabby! She has gorgeous stripes and orange spots in some areas. She has been spayed and is completely up to date with all her vaccinations in April.
Shelley was a part of a large colony of cats and yet seemed to be friendlier than most feral cats. She would come running when she was called and would get her favourite food, tuna. (She loves any type of food that has a fishy taste to it.) Her colony caretaker tried to trap her several times but she is a smart cat and would walk around the traps, even when tuna was in them! She is also a mother of five litters of kittens who were all rescued and adopted. They were all beautiful kittens!
Finally, after her last litter of babies, she was tricked indoors with her five kittens. She was a very good mother and her babies were all incredibly healthy and clean. She was given the opportunity to stay indoors during the cold winter with her kittens and during this time she learned what being an inside kitty was all about! She loved having unlimited food and a warm bed for her babies--you could see she appreciated it. Eventually, it was time for her babies to find forever homes and for her to be spayed.
Once Shelley was spayed, she didn’t want to go outside anymore--she wanted to stay in her warm home instead. It has been a few months since her kittens have found their homes and now she too would like to call a place home.
Shelley is a very quiet cat, with lots of love to share. She wants to sit beside you while you work; she is currently living in an office so she is happy to sit in a box and watch you type. She absolutely loves boxes and looking out the window to watch the birds. She gets along well with all cats and kittens, and if you have a cat she will help you keep it clean as she loves to groom. She would enjoy a quiet home where she can get all kinds of attention and would like to have another kitty to play and cuddle in the window. She would do best in a home without children as they tend to frighten her because she is not use to them.
