Julia's Story...
Julia is a 9 month old Boxer/American Bulldog mix. She was rescued from North Central Shelter after spending 40+ days at the pound. Her previous owners left her there to die when they moved. Julia is a big ball of goofy sweetness. She is so good with other dogs that the shelter was actually using her as a "tester" dog to test the temperament of other dogs in the shelter. Her goofy, fun, and friendly demeanor would make her the perfect addition to any family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Julia, a Los Angeles Boxer/American Bulldog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Bulldog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Boxer/American Bulldog puppy from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Bulldog breeders who help with Boxer/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
