Alexa was taken on by Pibbles and More Animal Rescue from another rescue group that was going to euthanize her simply because she has diabetes. We couldnÂ’t let that happen! Alexa is estimated to be no more than 1 year old. She is a happy, affectionate little girl - utterly lovable, friendly and mellow. SheÂ’s a bumper, weaver and soft purrer who loves belly rubs and little kisses on her face. She will stay on your lap while you bestow her with the usual things cats love like head and neck rubs. She will also stay perched on your shoulder for a bit. No litter box behavior problems. She will come to you when called, or of her own volition, and send you to heaven by plopping her svelte little body sphinx-style on your chest, or just melt across your chest for schmoochies snuggling her face against your cheek or into your neck. I also discovered that when she takes a pee, she balances on all fours on the edge of the pan, I guess not wanting to get her feet dirty in the litter. Alexa needs just 1 unit of insulin at 2x a day. Her food can be bought in the neighborhood pet supply, no special order requirements. Please consider adopting this lovely little girl. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary. Vet references are required and prior to adoption a home inspection will be conducted. Adoption fee applies. If interested go to www.pmarinc.org for an application.

Our Adoption Process...

We at Pibbles & More rescue animals from many situations. May it be from a shelter, bad home, or an unwanted furbaby... Once the animal is in our rescue they get the best treatment, care, love & training we can supply... So we work hard at finding the RIGHT family & home for our rescued babies. There is an adoption application that will need to be filled out, along with a home visit, vet check, personal references & an adoption donation... This fee varies from dog to dog. All our rescued animals are on flea/HW preventive Utd on shots and spayed or neutered... also all our animals are in foster care so this way we know the right home for each of our Furbabies. For an adoption application please visit www.pmarinc.org
