Captian's Story...
Ahoy mateys! Meet Captian, a ~1 year old creamy husky/shephard mix. Captain has been busy sailing the high seas, and hasn't had many humans on his ship. He's a shy boy, but now that some people have boarded his vessel, he's learning about tummy rubs and neck scratches. Captain loves having other dogs on his scurvy crew; they help him venture outside his comfort zone when he's treading unfamiliar waters. Captain's starting to show a lot of promise with the people on board, and he'll surly take great strides as he becomes more comfortable with his new deckhands, as long as they're patient and have lots of love to give. He's still learning what crates, leashes, and house-training are all about, but he's highly food-motivated and a very apt pupil. Are you ready to join Captain on his voyage? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Captian, a Minneapolis Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
