Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there. My name is Bob. I am about 4 years old and I weigh about 45 lbs. Here is my story:
I came in to the pound as an owner surrender from the same house as Bucky, Spots and Katniss.
My owner had found me while he was out hunting when I was just a puppy. I was near death in one of those awful claw traps. It was clamped on to one of my legs and I had given up on the thought that I was ever going to get out of that thing. I was terrified and it was so painful, but I was exhausted from trying to get out. Finally, he came along, got the trap open and got me out of it. I was finally free. He took me home with the intentions of giving me away after he doctored me up, but I won his heart and he kept me. My leg healed nice. You can’t even scar on my leg now.
I was a house dog. I stayed at home. My dad didn't have a fence, he just let us all out, we pottied, then came right back in. My dad passed away, so I had to be surrendered to the pound with my friends.
I got to be in a foster home for a little while. My foster said that I am housebroken, good with all of her (big and small) dogs and that I was also good with cats! She also said I do great on a leash and that I didn't try pulling her around nor did I give her any trouble. The only thing she mentioned is that I can be a little fearful if you go to grab my collar too quickly. If you move slow, I don’t get scared and I am just fine.
If you’re looking for a beautiful, sweet, nice medium sized dog to add to your family, please call the pound and ask about me!
XOXO,
Bob!
I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
