JoJo (white- middle) came in with a few friends (Kiwi & Gizmo). She is about ~1 year old and he is bestest buds with Gizmo. ojo (white), Kiwi (brown), and Gizmo (grey) are all around a year old. These guys are looking for a new ferret savvy home- come visit with them at BRHS if interested Kiwi is the more independent of the three and could possibly go to a home without Gizmo and Jojo. However, Jojo and Gizmo are a bonded pair! Adoption Fees are $80 for a single, $125 for a pair and $150 for a 3 pack. -- Kiwi is independent and could be adopted alone. Jojo and Gizmo must either be adopted as a bonded pair or as part of the 3-pack. Cage and supplies negotiable if adopting all 3.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JoJo, a Brookings Ferret was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ferret for sale in Brookings, or seeking a Ferret from a breeder in Brookings.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brookings already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brookings breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ferret breeders who help with Ferret rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brookings paves the way for another one to be saved.
