Alfie's Story...
Hello I'm Alfie. My foster mom got me from a man who had 27 puppies. I was the littles of my litter, and my bigger siblings picked on me, and I was not in the best of shape when my foster mom got me. Now after a good month of love and care, I'm doing really good. I have grown alot and my foster mom saids I'm a very handsome young man. I'm so excited about getting my own family. I really want to learn how to play fetch, take long walks, and be a family member. I will be ready to come to my new home on August 1. At that time I will be completely vetted. So won't you please make me part of your family. If you are interested in learning more about this dog or adopting it, please paste the following link into your browser BEFORE emailing for more information. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alfie, a Staunton Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
