Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sallie Mae is was dumped off on the side of the road in a crate with her sister when they were just pups. When she was adopted/returned for not getting along with the other dog, we then learned that she likely had some deafness. This required slower introduction and time to adjust to new dogs. She now gets along fine with many in her foster home.
Though considered special needs, she really only requires her caregiver to give hand-signal versus verbal commands. She also comes with a vibrating collar that allows you to get her attention when she's not looking at you.
Despite her handicap, Sallie Mae is very sweet and gorgeous pooch -- very funny and cuddly. She anxiously awaits her forever family.
