Timothy's Story...
Timothy is a gorgeous 5 month old (as of 7/2014) kitten. Timothy’s mama, Ms. Verity, was brought to us pregnant and homeless. We gave her a safe haven to have her kittens with lots of food and warmth. Ms. Verity had 5 adorable kittens. Unfortunately 2 of her babies passed away. The 3 remaining kittens, including, Timothy, have grown stronger and seem to be doing well.

Timothy has a fantastic personality. He is a lively and energetic kitten who loves to play with his siblings and visitors! Timothy loves to lay in people’s arms and cuddle. He can warm any heart with his constant purring. He’s a perfect kitten who is waiting for a cozy home to cuddle and play in. Come meet him at 2 Rider Place, Freeport.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Timothy, a Freeport Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Freeport, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
