My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Rex and I'm so happy to meet you! I am a little hard of hearing, but when I see you giving me your attention, I repay it by wiggling my little curly-q tail. I don't want to brag, but my fur is the softest! Signe calls me her little "velveteen rabbit". While we are on the topic of my fur, could you be a pal and give me a belly rub or an itchy scratch on my rear? I love being petted and rubbed!

Hey, where are you going? Don't forget to take me along! I love to go on walks, ride in the car, and go with you to all of the dog-friendly places. I get along with everyone and everything I meet. I get a little restless when I am in a new environment, but bear with me, I'm new to this kind of stuff. I think it's fun to crawl around on my tummy, especially at bedtime. It feels so good!

I like to sleep with my humans, I prefer to be on the bed, but would be fine with my own bed on the floor too. I just really REALLY want to be with my human family as much as possible. I am still learning the potty rules. I'm not used to having so much space or a choice of where to go. My foster mom says that I am doing really good with the assistance of a pet gate and crate training. I just want to let everyone in my "pack" know that I'm ready to devote myself to them by adding my mark to our territory. I know you are supposed to keep your den clean, but sometimes I get confused about where my den is. My foster brother, Barlow, is helping teach me how it's done. He's a pretty nice guy!
