My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Levi is 9-years old, this is YOUNG for a small breed dog. He has plenty of life left to live and give and receive love. Levi's story, the part we're aware of, is pretty terrible. He was dumped outside a high kill shelter near Rossford, OH, put in a night drop! Then on the day he was set to be gassed, we received a call from Small Breed Rescue asking if we could do an emergency foster to spare Levi's life.

Levi's foster decided to try and adopt him; however, it's not working out. She has her own pet cats, as well as her fosters, and we recently found out the cats have been attacking Levi. He's become frightened and depressed.

Levi is a sweet lap dog. He would do best in a home as an only pet because he really really needs to get some love and attention. He has lived with another dog before so he could live well with the right dog in the right situation.

Levi's current owner doesn't have the time necessary for him due to her full time job responsibilities and the cats she is fostering. She just wants him to be happy.
