Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Poor Daisy needs a new family! Her mom, who has had her for 6 years, has started being a “snowbird”, going to Florida for part of the year, and Daisy HATES it. Too hot for her beautiful Wheaton coat. She is much happier living in New England so her mom realizes she has to give her up.
Daisy loves the snow and loves running in the backyard or playing with her dog friends at the local park. She always wants to play, and she even goes to doggy day care and loves it there too. She is a peanut at approx. 30 lbs.
Daisy has lived with a cat with no issues and she loves the grandkids that come around – birth to age 10 and she is wonderful, but sometimes will knock one down when they are running up and down the stairs or playing outside together. Daisy loves company and will give a happy and energetic greeting to visitors. She needs reminders to greet calmly and sometimes her mom finds it best to introduce outside on leash then have everyone walk inside together. She also loves to ride in the car and does great staying in motels or going to other people’s houses.
Daisy sleeps on a dog bed in her mom’s room. She is a very loyal dog, and will even lay outside the bathroom while her human takes a shower. She likes to please her, and is a fantastic companion.
Daisy is a non-shedding dog and is a pure-bred Wheaton Terrier, which is on the “low allergy” list. She goes to the groomer regularly and benefits from regular exercise. She might love a human jogging partner!
To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org, or request an application via email, luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.
Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
