My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beat it down to Friendship for Bullwinkle...not Bullwinkle J. Moose, but Bullwinkle G (for good) Dog. He is listed as a cattle dog mix. Bullwinkle was rescued from a high kill shelter. One look at that face and our director knew he didn't want that to be Bullwinkle's fate. This fellow is a calm dog that would love to be adopted by a family that would include him in their activities. He likes some dogs and not others. His history is not known but being Mr. Know It All, he knows his future is bright. Stop by soon and take a look.

On September 04, 2014, Bullwinkle was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. He is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institution. Prison Dogs are trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. He will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison.

If you are interested in adopting a prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at www.friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321.
