My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Born Again Pit Bull Rescue regularly works with the wonderful people at the Del Norte County Animal Control located out in rural Crescent City, CA (a tiny coastal city on the OR/CA border). They have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption viewing hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t come outside and play.

We want you to see some really great dogs that they have in their care--it's just a 5-hour drive from Portland to adopt your new BFF! *Please note that occasionally there are volunteers who can assist with transporting the dog from the shelter to Grants Pass/Eugene/Salem/Portland *

Del Norte County Animal Control is located in Crescent City, CA. They are open Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.

Address: 2650 Washington Blvd - Crescent City, CA 95531

Shelter phone: (707) 464-7235

Adoption fees are between $15 - $95 depending on if the dog has been previously fixed and if you are adopting in Del Norte County or out of the county.

This is the lovely Brazillia! She is an adult female, we believe her to be a Havanese mix. She's a nice medium size, 35-40 lbs. She has been spending her days playing with our other dogs on the play yard, but seems to be a more moderate energy kind of gal. She needs a little grooming, but seems to be in pretty good shape. She walks nicely on a leash, knows how to "sit', and takes treats gently. She's a friendly girl, seems to love everyone.
