CANDY is an 8 year-old black Schnauzer. She weighs 26 pounds.
BARKLEY is a 9 year old salt & pepper Schnauzer. He weighs 17 pounds.
They were surrendered by their original owners because of a life situation. The best solution for the two was to go into a rescue. They are a bonded pair - raised together all their lives. It is our wish that they be able to stay together.
They are now in a foster home (in Indianapolis, IN) with plenty of canine companionship and human attention and have settled in nicely. They are potty trained and both walk well on a leash. They are both good with other dogs and cats. And, they are both very comfortable around children.
BARKLEY is the strong & silent type, he is a very affectionate gentleman, and loves to be close to his human and nap. He is very well-behaved and listens well.
CANDY is a little more active – she runs around and plays with her foster siblings in the yard. They all get along very well. She too is a very well-mannered girl who just loves any and all attention she gets.
Both of these dogs are just the best! They so deserve a forever home where they can feel safe and loved, and become family members as they were before. If you have room in your heart (and home) to help keep these two bonded kids together forever, please submit an adoption application with their names on it and someone from SRC will contact you.
CANDY and BARKLEY are spayed and neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and are both HW negative and on preventative. Their adoption fee is $225 for each.
They are fostered by Nina in Indianapolis IN
