Phantom's Story...
Phantom is a gentleman out for your heart.
This big softie loves to lay in your lap and be scratched. He's the kind of rat who will watch television with you, nibble from your dinner if you let him, and then fall asleep next to you on the couch. Phantom is a gentle guy who loves attention and people. We took Phantom in after his caretaker fell ill and had to be hospitalized. Before we got Phantom, now a year old, he spent all day with his caretaker, riding around on his shoulder, sleeping in his bed, and free roaming as he pleased. No wonder he loves people so much! We are looking to find a loving home for Phantom.

Are you ready to open your heart and home to him?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phantom, a Brooklyn Rat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Rat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat breeders who help with Rat rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
