Precious's Story...
Precious is the little girl in the litter and her name suits her. She loves to cuddle up and is content to be carried around by little girls all the time. She's great with kids and adults. She loves to wrestle with her brothers. She is white with two gray spots on the top of her head, and has beautiful greenish blue eyes. She's easy going and is always curious to see what is going on, and if you miss her you are sure to find her snooping out somewhere new or hiding in a tight spot like a basket full of shoes or books. If you'd like to meet her, please email info@FORrescue.net. You may also complete an application at http://forrescue.net/cat-application/. Precious is fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Precious, a Knoxville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
