MEET KALVIN....and his pictures really do depict his happy personality. Likely a mix of Lhasa and Shih Tzu, this 12 lb, white/cream, 1.5 yr old is just a joy. He LOVES to play and, without question, another, young, small, playful dog must be in his future. He'll play with just about anyone, anything -- except cats!! He came to the shelter with his mom (we think), Chanel...and they are loving with each other but do not need to go together. Kalvin loves to go on walks, although he needs some practice because he loves to check out everyone and everything! He would love to have a yard to romp in....and definitely needs exercise as he is always on the move. This snuggler loves to give kisses and let you know how grateful he is to be out of the shelter. He would be good with kids over 8 yrs old. Kalvin just wants to rock'n'roll and party all night! He was potty trained at his foster home, but we don't guarantee he will be at your house! We recommend training for all our dogs to make them the best companions they can be. Kalvin is very puppy in nature, but is smart and aims to please! Will you give him a chance to please you?

UPDATE!!!! Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events most every Sunday at ROVER KENNELS on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Rover is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
