My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Daisy on June 21 my family that I loved with my whole heart and soul brought me to their local pound and just left me behind. They filled out the paperwork and the reason they were abandoning me was because they said they had no more time for me. The employee at the pound shook her head and took me and the paperwork away, but I really did not want to go down that hallway or down those stairs to the basement where I could hear all the other dogs crying and barking.
I was so very scared and everyone at the pound was so very worried about me and I just hid in my cage wishing my life away. Every day felt like forever in there and everyday my spirit broke a little more
Then something happened that I did not expect on a quiet Sunday morning, see the pound is closed on Sundays so there are very few people there… I hid in my cage hoping they would not notice that I was still there. I had already been there too long. A woman came to my cage and opened the door up and attached a leash to my collar. I was so very terrified. I did not want to die!! I struggled with her but finally she led me up the stairs… I recognized those stairs! & she led me down the hallway and I recognized that hallway!!! and when we reached the end there was a wonderful & gentle woman standing there. She said she was from CAA Rescue and she wanted to take me home to foster me! I had no idea what any of that meant but anything was better than my cage – so I trusted her.
& WOW what a fun time I am having with my foster mummy and her furry family. She has dogs and I play great with them. She also has a cat and I really like him but he does not seem to like me too much! But I don’t care, I am just so happy to be free, let the kitty kats be haters… I only have time from here on end to LOVE! I lovvvvvvve to run in the back yard and just play like I am a happy puppy!! I am awful on the leash it is very obvious no one ever took the time to train me but foster mummy is off to get me a walking harness and she will start my education
I am much smaller than I look by the way! I am approximately 30lbs so in fact I am ½ doggie sized! & Foster Mummy says I am as cute as a button!
I am a shy girl my last family who had me for 5 years really did not spend time doing things with me but with a little patience and tons of kindness I really adapt well; or at least I am trying to. It is hard for me but I am doing my best not to let my foster mummy down. I am a friendly girl all I need is for someone to truly love me
If you would like to meet me or know more about me please email CAARescue@gmail.com and ask them for an application. Maybe you were always meant to be my forever family and I just had to wait five long years before you found me!
