My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Are you looking for a happy, spirited, and fearless friend to share your life? Look no further! My name is J.R., and I'm a confident, affectionate, and intelligent nine-month-old Jack Russell Terrier mix fellow. I love to play fetch, and I'll bring that toy right back to you. I'll need a yard in my new home, and, like most dogs, I'll need a good daily walk so that I can get enough exercise to be at my best. I know how to sit on command, and I'm very obedient if I have a calm-assertive pack leader who will set limitations for me. I'd do best in an adult home where I'm the only dog. Maybe we could go on hikes or jogs together, enjoying nature and the California sunshine. Just think of the fun we can have, and the companionship that we'll give each other. The shelter staff isn't sure if I've been house trained, but a smart dog like me can learn whatever you'd like to teach me. I sure hope you'll come visit me very soon at the El Cajon Animal Shelter.
