Cali's Story...
Meet Cali!

Age: approx. 2 years | Gender: Female
Breed: Chihuahua mix
Children: Older | Dogs: Similar Size | Cats: Untested
Status: Adoptable

This 2-year-old little chihuahua girl has the most expressive ears you will ever see. She carries them low when she's cautious or shy, but when you have her attention they perk up to their full height, which shows off her gorgeous little face :) She is quite shy at first as she is a more reserved pup, but with love and patience, she will blossom in a new home over time.

She is very gentle and loving. Great with other dogs her own size (not tested with cats) but is fearful of larger pups. She's gentle enough for children but because she's very timid she would probably do best with older kids rather than younger kids who might scare her.

Currently, because another small dog in the home really helps Cali to adjust and come out of her shell, we feel it best to adopt her into a home with an existing small dog.

Cali is also fully potty and kennel trained.

Do you have room to give Cali her new LEASH on life? Let us know!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cali, a Pitt Meadows Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Pitt Meadows, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Pitt Meadows.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pitt Meadows already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pitt Meadows breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pitt Meadows paves the way for another one to be saved.
