Doc's Story...
Meet Doc! Doc is a 5 year old (approximately) Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier mix. He weighs about 25 pounds. He has an unusual stretch of long hair down his back almost like a horse's mane. It is long and wavy and fun to brush. Doc is a ladies man and will bond quickly to the women in the household. He is timid at first, but so sweet once he trusts you. He is mild mannered and well behaved. This sweet boy deserves a loving home for the holidays. Could it be with you?Doc has received all vaccines, and preventatives, he's neutered, house trained, and microchipped too. Do you like to sleep in on the weekends? Then Doc is the one for you, loves to sleep in the bed. You can find him still snoozing there even after you have had your coffee! lol But he knows his limits and will not get up on any other furniture. Doc is also house-trained. (Such a good boy!!) Adoption fee is $250. Please visit www.masrescue.org to fill in the dog adoption application for Doc

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Doc, a Baltimore Cairn Terrier/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Corgi for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Corgi dog from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Corgi breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
