Russell's Story...
Russell hales from the Ewok family. How he managed to get to the shelter from Endor is anyone's guess, but we are lucky to have him. Unlike his warrior relatives, Russell is a sweet, gentle fur ball. He was almost perfect on his review walk… from start to finish. He is easily harnessed, does not appear to be fazed by loud noises, or other dogs. Maybe it is his Ewok genes (they are noted for their ability to dance well), but he follows his walker's lead very well, and gentle correction is all that is needed to get him to follow you.

Russell loves to be held. Maybe this why he left Endor. Better hustle, if you want to adopt Russell!

Act quickly to adopt Russell. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Russell, a Berkeley Brussels Griffon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Brussels Griffon for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a Brussels Griffon dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Brussels Griffon breeders who help with Brussels Griffon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
