CANDY is an 8 year-old black schnauzer. She weighs 26 pounds.
She was surrendered (along with her brother) by her original owners because of a life situation. The best solution for her was to go into a rescue.
She is now in a foster home (in Indianapolis, IN) with plenty of canine companionship and human attention and has settled in nicely. She is potty trained and walks well on a leash. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, although she will chase a cat sometimes. She is very comfortable around children.
CANDY is a little more active – she runs around and plays with her foster siblings in the yard. They all get along very well. She is a very well-mannered girl who just loves any and all attention she gets.
CANDY so deserves a forever home where she can feel safe and loved, and become a member of a new family. If you have room in your heart (and home) to help CANDY be a happy dog, please submit an adoption application with her name on it and someone from SRC will contact you.
If you might consider her companion Barkley as well - that would make her really happy!!
CANDY is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and she is HW negative and on preventative. Her adoption fee is $225.
Candy (and Barkley) are fostered by Nina in Indianapolis IN.
