BARKLEY is a 9 year-old salt & pepper colored Schnauzer. He weighs 17 pounds.
He was surrendered (along with his sister) by his original owners because of a life situation. The best solution for him was to go into a rescue.
He is now in a foster home (in Indianapolis, IN) with plenty of canine companionship and human attention and has settled in nicely. He is potty trained and walks well on a leash. He gets along well with other dogs and cats – and he doesn’t bother the cats at all. He is very comfortable around children.
BARKLEY is happiest being close to his humans and watching all the action. He is very well-mannered and just loves any and all attention gets.
BARKLEY so deserves a forever home where he can feel safe and loved, and become a member of a new family. If you have room in your heart (and home) to help BARKLEY be a happy dog, please submit an adoption application with his name on it and someone from SRC will contact you.
If you might consider his companion Candy as well - that would make him really happy!!
BARKLEY is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and he is HW negative and on preventative. His adoption fee is 225.
Barkley (and Candy) are fostered by Nina in Indianapolis IN.
