Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Emi is an 11 month old sesame Shiba Inu. She is playful and energetic, and loves playing outside with other friendly dogs! She is very shy with new people and new experiences, and needs a permanent home with another friendly dog to help her build confidence. When she trusts people she can be very loving--she will follow her foster mom around and give kisses. She would thrive in a suburban or rural area but might do well in a city environment if there is a quiet place for dogs to walk and play in a fenced yard. She will be adopted with a training contract for fearful dogs.
NO CATS PLEASE, but children are OK if they have been taught to be respectful of dogs.
Please research the breed before applying for Emi. The Shiba Inu is not for everyone.
UPDATE: Emi’s favorite thing is not a ball or toy. She loves being outside! Her foster mom thinks she would do best in a home with a back yard. Emi loves being outdoors and makes little beds in tufts of grass. She is often napping under a tree or sunning herself on the patio. Emi is also more playful with the other dogs when she is outdoors. She will come to give her foster mom kisses--as well as to eat boiled chicken or coconut oil!
