Dennis 1 "Mouse"'s Story...
I'm currently in a foster home. Email cats@angelcathaven.com to schedule a meet and greet.

Hi my nickname is Mouse and I'm 3 years old. I was rescued with my sister Callie when we were quite ill kittens that needed to learn the love of humans. I've been pampered by my foster mom and have become quite loveable. I'm still pretty shy but have been making great progress. I need to find a human who could take their time with me and let me become comfortable in a new home. My foster mama says that I don't have a mean bone in my body and although can be fearful, will never lash out. Now, I will approach her and wait to be brushed, have tummy pats and I love to show my appreciation by rubbing against mama. I'm also highly treat motivated and love playing with the string toy. Could you be the person to provide my forever home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dennis 1 "Mouse", a Plainville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Plainville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Plainville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainville paves the way for another one to be saved.
