Tess's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Tess's Story...
Tess is a lively 6 year old female pitbull/heeler mix. She is spayed and doggie door trained. Good with people and kids. She has lots of energy so older kids would be best. She cannot be with cats. Will get along with another dog if it is a male. Tess wants to find her forever family. She is currently being kenneled and would love to be in a real home with a family! Please call Debbie at 505-238-5565 or email secondchancenm@yahoo.com for more information. We hold our adoption events at the Petco (inside the store) on San Mateo at Academy on Saturdays from about 11 a.m. til 3:30 p.m.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tess, a Rio Rancho Cattle Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Rio Rancho, or seeking a Cattle Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Rio Rancho.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rio Rancho already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rio Rancho breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Cattle Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rio Rancho paves the way for another one to be saved.
