My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, we are Boots and Gemini and we are very bonded with each other and would like to go home together. We’re looking for that special situation where we go to a barn home that wants cats they can interact with or someone with lots of land around their home.

Gemini is a very sweet boy who had a rough start in life and took a while to come around and trust that the people in his life wouldn't hurt him. He is a wise soul and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He has come such a long way and now fully enjoys being around people. He's not much on being held still, we're working on that but loves to be petted - when he isn't too busy playing or exploring! - and will lift his
head up to your hand now to be petted. He loves his treats and knows that treats and petting go hand in hand!!

Boots is a challenge; He is very leery of people and doesn't give his heart easily. He will take a while to come around but is the most adorable, double pawed cat you'll ever see! He has so many front toes that he walks a little bowlegged and it is quite adorable!! And he has this precious way of cocking his head and looking at you, not quite flirting but close!! He gets very nervous when gemi isn't close but is becoming more and more independent every day. Oh and he loves his treats too!

Both these guys would do well in either a barn situation where the owners wanted to be able to interact with the cats, Gemini does like to sleep on our bed now and then, or in a home that has lots of property where they could go outside. We don't normally advocate letting cats go outdoors but in the right situation where they wouldn't be on a busy road would be ok.

Gemini loves to be outside but also likes to come in at night and be around people, Boots will do what Gemini does but prefers to be outside. They aren't true barn cats in that they like human interaction - on their terms but interaction none the less! - So do you have that special situation so they can stay together and still feel safe and loved?? If so come and meet them and we know you'll fall in love with them!! Reach our foster mom at cmm@maine.rr.com.
