  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
The biggest schmooze you'll ever meet. Turbo is an Abyssinian/DSH mix. He is around 4 years old and has been through quite the struggle in his short life. He was very ill when we was rescued and taken to a local animal clinic. They decided that Turbo lacked depth perception and would have some issues with his vision. A year later he became ill when his liver decided to shut down. After some medication and therapy, Turbo made a fast recovery to good health. He is a stunning young man who loves attention and loves his human companions. He only eats canned food, about 3-4 times daily and will not eat dry food or treats. He will need a dental cleaning and a few extractions that will be completed prior to adoption. Turbo is shy at adoption clinics so we would prefer new owners to meet him at the new home setting to see how he does. He does not let his vision slow him down and one would never think he has an issue. He loves to talk, ESP around feeding time. He is good with other animals but would prefer a quieter atmosphere without other animals or small children. He uses a scratch post and litter box with no problems. He is neutered and felv/fiv negative. He will be due for vaccines, that will be completed upon adoption. Please email for more info.

About Erie Shores Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

Erie Shores HS is an all volunteer, non-profit 501c3 certified rescue dedicated to the rescue, restore, and rehome process of the abused, neglected, and abandoned animals in and around Lorain County, Ohio.

Our rescue is not shelter based. Instead, we rely on the dedicated foster homes and families who volunteer with our rescue to provide all needed aspects to our rescues, from care, to socialization, promotion, and placing into loving forever homes. In our experience over the last 30 years, the foster based method we use has proved to be effective in placing our rescues in the most suitable, loving homes based on their temporary stay in our foster homes. We truly could not function without the dedication and support of the people who make up our foster homes, and their commitment to the rescued animals.

We promote general and public education regarding care of animals and spay/neutering.
