Gibson's Info...

Gibson's Story...
Gibson is about 5-6 mos old. He weighs around 40lbs. He is active. He does not hear. He watches you and can learn signs. He knows a few so far. He is a smart breed just looking for the right home. He needs a home that will always keep him on leash--he can't hear cars or noises that can put him in harms way. But that being said no dog should run off leash unless in a fenced yard. He is good with dogs all sizes. He loves the entire family and is doing well in his foster home.

Gibson can have a long, normal life. He was born this way. He knows no different. What he lacks in hearing he makes up for in sight the best he can. He follows, watches and follows the lead of the other dogs around him with coming in. If you were to see him at a doggy day care you would not even know he could not hear unless someone pointed it out. He is looking for his forever home and family. Call 530-777-8550

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gibson, a Yuba City Anatolian Shepherd/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Anatolian Shepherd/Border Collie for sale in Yuba City, or seeking a Anatolian Shepherd/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Yuba City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yuba City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yuba City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Anatolian Shepherd/Border Collie breeders who help with Anatolian Shepherd/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yuba City paves the way for another one to be saved.
