My Name is Pinky. My Foster Parents wrote this but I had to make some edits. They think I am a mix but I am pretty sure they misspelled it; my breed starts with a B and I am not a mix... I am 100% Besty. Since I am a one of a kind breed it probably makes sense for me to tell you about my breed characteristics. 1. Loves my people 2. Loves laps 3. Loves walks, great best (y!) on a leash. 4. Great Best (y!) snuggler 5. Not greedy but loves food 6. Always up for a car ride, in your lap, in my crate or in the back seat. 7. House trained 8. Crate trained but who needs it... Besties are sooooo good you never have to use it. Besties do like to have a safe place to snooze though. 9. Loves my people. Yep, it's in there twice. 10. Portable - I am just 8 lbs 11. Youthful - I am just a year and a half old in people years 12. Plays well with resident pup, but would do well with a similar sized dog or only dog. 13. I am interested in bunnies and squirrels, but I don’t chase them. I have never met a cat. 14. Needs forever Home!!! Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom and dad are!), we are just guessing on breed.
All dogs are spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They have all had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer, are treated for fleas, have a heartworm test if over 6 months old and are up to date on a heartworm preventative.
Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis.If you are interested in meeting this dog please fill out the pre-adoption application on our website at www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and we will get back to you to arrange a meeting in the foster home.
We also have an Adoptable Dog Meet & Greet on Saturday July 26, 2014, at Fetch Delivers Warehouse, at their new location, 783 Harding St. NE. Suite 150, Minneapolis, MN 55413, from noon - 2 pm. Occasionally dogs cannot make it to the Meet & Greet, therefore feel free to verify if your dog of interest is able to attend. Please bring a copy of your pre-adoption application.
