My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m Sluggo! Don't let the name fool you – I'm a pretty perky guy. I’m only three years old and as big as I’m going to get, but still young enough to enjoy a little fun. I like stuffed toys (especially ones that squeak!) and a little tug-o-war, and sometimes I even enjoy a good wrestle or chase around the house with my foster sister (though if a dog doesn't want to play, I'm always polite about that too). But there’s no dog I like more than humans! When play-time’s over I love to nap next to them or snooze on their laps if they’ll let me (feel free to throw in some scritches, please). But if they’re busy, any nice cushy spot will do, so long as I can keep an eye on what they’re up to.

I’m lucky that I’ve been well-cared for all my life and am in great health. Not only does everything work right, I don’t even snore, and everybody says they love my distinctive paint job. I like an occasional walk but I get hot real easy, so I like to spend most of my time indoors. Fortunately, I’m just about perfectly house-trained, too, so it all works out great! I’m not even bothered by really loud thunderstorms in the middle of night. In fact, my foster dad says I’m just about the perfect pug, and who am I to disagree? All I’m really missing is a permanent place to crash where I can be someone’s best buddy forever. Fill out an app so you can check me out. I’m quite the catch!
