Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cassie is a young 1-2 year old Jack Russell mix. With her large ears and coloring, we are guessing she is mixed with Papillon. Cassie came to us pregnant after being picked up by the shelter as a stray. She is a great mama but deserves a home of her own where she will be loved and spoiled. Cassie is a velcro dog and wants to be near her person all the time. She is very smart and not over energetic. A fenced yard or an active walker would be best for Cassie. She is house trained but needs a regular schedule. Cassie does not do well in the crate as it makes her nervous. She is fine home alone but hates to be alone too long. Cassie gets along well with her foster siblings but can be a bit territorial about sharing her human time and food, so a home where she is an only dog is recommended. This little girl is so sweet and smart! She would be great for agility as she wants to please her human so much! If you have room in heart and home for Cassie, please apply online at www.codrl.org. Cassie's adoption fee is $150 to help with her vetting. Cassie cannot go to her new forever home until her pups are completely weaned and she has been spayed around the beginning of August.
Central Ohio Dog Rescue is not a shelter. All of our dogs are fostered in our homes and treated as family until they are adopted. We will not ship dogs and all adopters will need to complete an application before meeting one of our dogs. Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered will be adopted out with a spay/neuter agreement and refundable deposit. Dogs/puppies are NOT adopted out of state without a positive vet reference. Prospective adopters must be at least 24 years of age to adopt. All pets in the household must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations and heartworm. We process many applications and may not respond to every applicant. We try to chose the best home for each dog based upon the individual dog's needs. Please check out our website for additional information: www.codrl.org
