Blu's Info...

Blu's Story...
Blu was brought into the shelter after she kept trying to go into a home that the police department was doing a search warrant in. It is believed that Blu belonged to the occupants of the home, and they were alerted that the cat was at the shelter, but no one came to claim her.

Blu is between 2-4 years old. She looks like a Russian Blue, but has a short tail, reminiscent of a bobtail.

Blu is very friendly and can be picked up without a problem. Blu seems to do well with other dogs, but takes some time to get used to other cats.

If you are a 501 c 3 rescue interested in pulling Blu, please contact us at hpshelter@gmail.com.

If you are an individual/family interested in adopting Blu, please contact us at hpshelter@gmail.com, or fill out an application for Blu at www.paawarren.org.

Act quickly to adopt Blu. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blu, a Hazel Park Russian Blue cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Hazel Park, or seeking a Russian Blue cat from a breeder in Hazel Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazel Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazel Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazel Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
