Coach Tully is 72 pounds of pure muscle and power. His energy and athleticism, combined with his desire to please, lead us to believe that he would excel at agility courses. He certainly is a champ when it comes to the high jump! If he played football, he would be the nose tackle!
He is active and goofy and loving and he wants to run and play and chase balls and get petted and bug his foster brothers and sisters to play. We would be lying if we said he was calm and well-mannered because he's not. He fairly bursts with excitement and the world is his oyster and he is busy jumping from one adventure to the next. This dog loves walks, hikes, playing ball, and any activity you can give him. When he is done playing, he wants to pass out on the sofa upside down next to you.
He loves people and other playful dogs, and he would do exceptionally well in a home with a dominant playful female dog. He loves to be pushed around by a bossy female. He takes correction very well from both humans and other dogs. If you have a lazy older dog who wants to sleep in front of the fireplace and not be disturbed, your own dog might bite you if you adopt this one because Tully sees no reason for any dog not to play.
Cats should also play. Tully loves cats and does play bows to coax them to play with him.
Once he gets enough play time, Tully loves to chill in the house. He will sit next to you while you work on your computer or watch TV. He likes to put his head in your lap to get petting. He is loving boy who needs a family of his own.
Even though he is big and strong and excitable, he is a sweet and loving boy. He would love a family who will work with him to help him stay calm and save the athletics for the field!
Coach Tully is neutered, vaccinated, and ready for his new home.
If you would like to meet Tully, please fill out an

The adoption fee is $300.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
