Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dot is a 10 year old purebred, sweet older lady who spent may years as a breeder making puppies and now has the opportunity to spend her "golden" years in the comforts of a real home. Like many rescued breeders she startles easily and can be hesitant, but she is a social dog and stays near the action. She approaches for attention and greets her foster family at the door with tail wagging. Dot LOVES water. She climbs in the small backyard pond at her foster home every time she goes out, and walks into the stream or lake to lie down if you let her. As she has become more comfortable, she also enjoys rolling in the grass and just lying in the shade looking at her surroundings. She looks like she's thinking "I can't believe I finally get to live like this."
Dot has been good in the house with free roam. No nasty habits for this old lady. She is also good with dogs, cats and kids.
Dot needs a confident dog in her new home to help her keep learning the ropes.
