Hi, I’m Benji! I recently found myself in need of rescue when my owner went into a nursing home and was no longer able to care for me. I’m 15 years old but don’t let my age fool you! I’m active and I enjoy daily walks with my foster family and even a short hike! I’m social with other dogs and have even been caught cuddling with my foster sister the Pomeranian but don’t tell anyone! I am house broken and a true gentleman around the house. I’m affectionate and like to lay near you but if you don’t have time for cuddling you can find me on the couch or on my “spot” at the end of the bed! I don’t mind children that know how to be gentle but tiny ones may be a bit too much for me now that my vision is a bit cloudy. Are you looking for the perfect companion to accompany you for walks around the neighborhood? A buddy to drink coffee with at your local coffee spot? I’m your boy!
