My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SASHA is a 1 year old black spayed female who weighs 65 pounds. She's a quiet, sweet girl. who walks well on leash and is good with other dogs. The shelter thinks she may chase cats, so no cats. Sasha comes from a rural area and would probably not do well living in a city, an apartment/condo, or a busy neighborhood. She was spayed on 7/21/14, so she'll need to take it easy until about 8/4/14. She's approved for kids aged 10+.

Update (7/28): : Sasha is such a sweet girl who loves to play! She enjoys playing catch and going for long walks, and needs several walks or lots of playtime to burn off her energy. She is good inside though once she's calmed down and does fine when crated. She is also very friendly toward the resident dogs and kids, and she enjoys following her humans around. She knows several commands, including sit, shake, off, and leave it. She also knows cookie. :)

Update (7/26): Sasha is doing great! She is crate-trained, and she likes to go in and out on her own during the day and sleep in it at night. She loves her foster mom but needs slow introductions to men. She also enjoys playing but settles nicely or plays with a toy on her own. Sasha loves meeting and playing with other dogs. She is a perfect little girl!
