Dooney's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Dooney's Story...
Dooney is the most darling boy you'll ever meet! He has long, floppy ears that lead us to think he is a Beagle mix. He is 12 weeks old and currently weighs 12 pounds. We anticipate Dooney will weigh 30 pounds at maturity.

Dooney was found as a stray puppy with his brother, Bourke. Bourke will be available for adoption after he has recovered from surgery involving his broken femoral head. They are both just so precious and Dooney is ready for his new home!

Dooney has received his first puppy vaccination, heartworm preventative and dewormer.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dooney, a Germantown Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
