Meet Murphy! Murphy is a happy-go-lucky long legged terrier mix. Murphy is about 2-3 years young and has a ton of love to give! He is well behaved in his crate and is learning leash manners very fast – Murphy is a quick study! Murphy moves like a deer and jumps like a kangaroo, so he would make an awesome agility dog or running/hiking buddy. This is one highly trainable pup!

Murphy spent over 2 months at the Harbor Animal Shelter before being rescued and is adjusting to home-life really well. He is a scruffy little dude that deserves an awesome home. If you are interested in adopting Murphy, please complete our adoption questionnaire here: www.whatsupdogla.com/adopt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Murphy, a Los Angeles Wheaten Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
