Abby's Story...
Hi! My name is Abby. I'm an 8 year old Shepherd cross. I have been spayed, de-wormed and I have received my first set of vaccinations. I will still require a rabies vaccine.

I am a really sweet girl, who just loves pets and attention. I'm a little bit older now, so I'm content to relax and sit by your side. I can be a little shy at first and loud noises and a fast paced life are a little too much for me these days. Therefore, I'd prefer a home with older children. Other dogs can sometimes be a little too high energy for me, too. So a home where I can be the only dog would be more my speed. While my days as an active dog may be over, I've still got lots of love to give. If you think you have the perfect home for me, I'd love to meet you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a Lloydminster German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Lloydminster, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Lloydminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lloydminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lloydminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lloydminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
