My story

Poppy

Poppy and Fizz, are ready for their new home...

These little ones were born to a feral Mom and caught in a backyard. (Mom has been spayed and is back with the homeowners. She is still wild, but she is welcome there and being cared for by them). They are named Pop and Fizz because that's all they did for the first month with us... spitting noises to make us go away and leave them alone!

Fizz has been adopted. Now it's Poppy's turn!

Poppy is a beautiful Tortoiseshell cat. Her fur is dark brown with lights of fire orange, and so soft. She has med-long hair. Poppy will need an adopter who understands cats, and maybe Torties. Torties are smart, but they are sensitive, and need a little bit of patience to allow them to find their way. Poppy started life as a feral and still remembers what it's like to be afraid sometimes.
Torties are loving and easy to keep when they know they are loved. Her personality is very calm when she knows she is ok. She will be a good lap cat and a loving companion.

She is 1 year old, spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and FeLV/FIV negative. She has always used the litterbox.

There is a $30 re-homing fee to help cover the cost of her care. There is also a home check. I know that sounds invasive, but it's not about housekeeping. It's about screens on windows, and where she will sleep... things like that. It's just to keep her safe.
