My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moonlight is only four months old and needs a special home. Two teenage kids set him on fire and a passerby saw it and doused him with water and rushed him to a shelter in Brooklyn. Long Beach Humane Society took him from the Brooklyn Shelter for some one on one time. He is healing in our foster care program. His fur may not grow back in all places but his heart is still as big as ever. He has a very loud purr and is very friendly to any stranger that meets him.. He is very active and playful, climbing on everything and gets along with other cats and dogs. Very even temperered personality. Can you open your heart and your home to him? Call Gail 516-661-5061 for an appointment to see him. Tested negative for Fiv/Felv. He is healing very well. And remember, he adores other cats, dogs and children and is so much fun to have around! And, he's a real survivor! Message from Moolight: Hi, my name is Moonlight. I am 3 months old and I love people, dogs, cats and children. Somehow I got in the wrong hands and some kids set me on fire. I was hurting so bad. A nice lady ran and put out the fire. She took me to a shelter. I was rescued from there taken to the vet and treated. I am now in a loving home with a family who is caring for my injuries. I make them all laugh and chuckle with my kitten antics! They forget just how bad I look. My wounds are healing and I will be handsome again one day. I will need a home to go to as I can't stay too long in the home I am currently in. I tested negative for Fiv/Felv. Please call and just come meet me. I will purr in your arms and win you over just as I did my current caregivers. Call Gail 516-661-5061 for an appointment to meet me. Update: 3/22/08 Moonlight went to the vet and he is healing miraculously! He is a wonderful, happy, playful, loving, affectionate little boy! A joy to have for any one!
