Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am an 8-month-old neutered male Poodle mix. I weigh about 14 pounds. Loving, playful, sweet, adorable....I am all those things! I'm also a super happy guy that loves making new friends, canines and humans alike! It wasn't always that way, though. Not that long ago I was living on the streets of Ensenada. I was pretty depressed and hopeless. I spent my days hanging around outside of a market. I'd wait by the door and as people exited I would beg them for food. I was so hungry and thirsty. :( Sadly, no one ever paid any attention to me. Then one day, a nice lady that rescues dogs, saw me at the market and took me home with her. She fed me and gave me all the water I needed. She even vaccinated me! She tried her hardest to find me a home, but no one wanted a scruffy thing like me. Then to my surprise, my friends and I overheard her say that we would be moving to California. I'd never heard of the place, but it sounded great! We made the trip from Ensenada to West LA. It was a long trip and I was thankful for the company. I couldn't have even imagined the greeting we would get when we showed up to CageFree. I've never felt so loved in my life. We immediately were bathed and treated for fleas and ticks and given a nice comfy crate of our own. I slept like a baby that first night. Because I wasn't neutered yet, I couldn't join the rest of the group of dogs on the playground. My human friends thought it would be best to get that done quickly. So they sent me to their vet the very next day. Everything went as planned and I am on the quick road to recovery. In a few short days I'll be running around making all kinds of new friends while I wait for that perfect family of my own. Do you think I would make a great addition to your life? Are you active?
